About the Owner
Ever since he was young, Robert Bickford had an entrepreneurial spirit. In 2012, Robert acquired his business degree at Siena College. At this time, he began mowing lawns on the side. Robert quickly noticed that his clients all shared something in common. They had all struggled with previous landscaping companies, stating that they were unreliable or difficult to work with. Robert immediately saw an opportunity for a company to do better. And this was when Bickford Landscaping was formed.
Today, Robert enjoys seeing his clients’ faces light up when they see their property transformed, as well as the pride in his team members – especially after they’ve finished a particularly challenging project. Robert’s current role in his company involves bringing in new business, giving estimates, responding to client requests, and helping his team solve any issues that arise on a project site. He loves watching his team grow and truly enjoys all that comes with running a business. He has a strong passion for it and strives to continue to deliver the highest quality landscaping, lawn, and snow services possible to the Capital Region of New York.

About the Company
Bickford Landscaping was officially founded in 2012. Robert Bickford, the owner, noticed various gaps in the current local landscape industry and knew that with his business and customer service knowledge, he could do better.
Yet, Bickford Landscaping started from humble beginnings. Robert began the company with just a single push mower, an electric weedwacker, and a borrowed van from a family member. As the company grew, he slowly began to hire others to help out and add equipment as needed.
Today, Bickford Landscaping provides commercial and residential clients with quality property maintenance and landscape solutions. In recent years, the company has begun to focus most of its efforts on garden bed design and installation projects. Working alongside a local landscape designer, Bickford Landscaping is confident in their ability to provide top quality work, meeting and exceeding the expectations of each and every client.
